eCommerce Store - Manage Inventory - Quantity availalble

When a product is marked as ZERO quantity available in the "Manage Inventory" settings, the item becomes invisible in the online Store.


When a product is set to having zero quantity available:   

1.  We want the product to be seen in the Store without the ability to order it.

2.  We would like automatic TEXT option to list item is either Out of Stock, Available in 2-3 weeks, or No Longer Available 


What is the best way to include this text in the Store?  Items would be visible in the Store but not possible to order until inventory set again.
