All the links are dead.  I'm looking for information on how to setup the autoresponder for failed gifts, anyone?

You can do this two ways. In the donation form itself on Step 5. Configure Autoresponders or in the AutoResponder Center (Setup -> Autoresponder Center)


In the donatin form on Step 5, you can see all the autoresponders you can enable. This allows you to customize the autoresponder for this specific donation form. You will look at Failed Sustaining Payment Notification

To setup Autoresponders for all your donation forms to use the same autoresponders, you can use Autoresponder Center.

The donors will need to login to the Gift Service Center. More info here:

There are instructions there on how to set it up.


Constituents can also print their own receipts in the Gift Service Center.


Not sure what "Object property values/tokens" you need in the autoresponder. We just inform the donor we haven't been able to process their payment and link to the gift service center for them to review/update their CC info. We also link them to their user preferences.

And, more specifically, if there is a limit on the number of times that autoresponder will send. I have a situation where the initial failure happened in 2017 and the donor just received a failed sustaining payment notification this month, triggered off of that same gift. Not sure if the notification has been sending every month in the interim or not.
