How to change favicon

I am aware that I need to change the favicon in the page wrapper, but where do I do this. I can't seem to find this. Is there one place to edit the main page wrapper?

Support put our first favicon on and I noticed the image on the FTP site. I deleted the favicon ico on our FTP site both in the root and image folder, then uploaded the new one in both places. I assumed it would then automatically show up in the url address, but it isn't. I cleared cookies and tried both IE and mozilla, am I missing something? Even though I deleted the old one off the FTP site it is still showing up??

Sorry I feel like I am really lost.

Hi Nikki,

This can actually be really difficult, due to different browsers' favicon behavior. Don't worry about feeling lost: a lot of people run into this problem.

Since your favicon.ico file is uploaded to your FTP directory, it can sometimes take a while for changes you make to it to appear "live". This is due to a caching interval that takes place on your FTP site. It can take up to 15 minutes for changes to go live. Are you seeing the new icon? I checked your site in all major browsers, and the icon is showing up correctly for me.

To your question about the main page wrapper: there is indeed a place to edit it, but by default, the Page Wrapper Editor is available only to Convio personnel. This is just a precaution to ensure that nobody makes the kind of mistake that would bring down your whole site. If you want to make changes to your page wrapper, contact your people at Convio, whether that's your Account Manager, your Interactive Specialist, or your Interactive Consultant.
