Accessibility compliance with ADA?

Options
Hi all -

I am trying to figure out if the donation pages generated through OLX are ADA (American Disabilities Act) compliant. My guess is that they are not, based on the fact that they are script-based rather than HTML based (thus not allowing edits to field tables?). I am only slightly tech savvy which is why our organization picked OLX to begin with (so I could be totally wrong and maybe it is compliant) - but due to a new mandate we are updating all elements of our website to be ADA compliant. This includes making sure field tables have names that make sense if people are using accessibility readers (which sort of read out the website to people) and a couple other things like adding symbols to forms to make information more clear.

With all that in mind, does anyone know if OLX is ADA compliant or could be customized somehow to comply with the above rules? If anyone has an idea about this, please let me know!

Thanks!

  • Hi Michelle,

Yes, although Online Express hasn't gone through formal ADA compliance testing, we have done our own internal testing and have multiple customers who value highly accessbile web forms and OLX forms test very well. We are always improving the forms but today OLX forms are able to work with screen readers. I hope this helps! Thank you!
