Exports/Imports Between RE and Better Impact?

My organization is going to be using Better Impact for volunteer management. We will need to export records from RE to Better Impact, which looks to be fairly straightforward. However, it looks like we will periodically have to import records from BI to RE for mailings, donation tracking, moves management, etc., and we're not sure if there's an easy (easier) way to do this. Does anyone currently use both? How do you facilitate the exchange of information between the two, especially updating RE? What works/doesn't work for you? Do you have any tips or tricks to share? Thank you so much.

Have you started using Better Impact yet?  I have access to both, but not a lot of experience in BI.  I'm not sure that you can import into BI, though.  Regardless, I highly recommend that you either change the RE ConstID to match the BI Database User ID (since I don't think you can edit/enter the BI ID, I think it's only auto-generated) or store the BI ID in RE as an Attribute and the RE ID somewhere in BI.  It will make it much easier to match records up for importing/updating.
