    Is anyone having any issues with lagging interface on hosted RE systems right now?  It's driving me crazy!

    Since this morning, RE has been slow and crashed. We're hosted and that has crashed also. 

    I wasnt having any issues until 10 minutes ago.  Got booted out and can't get back in.  I'm getting a cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp service.  There is no Citrix SSL server configured on the specified address.

    Our hosted applications (RE & FE) were offline (the login1.blackbaudhosting.com site/server was down) for about 20 minutes.  It just back online, and everything seems to working normally.

    We are having issues here in Washington, DC, too. I was told the issue was resolved but it crashed again this afternoon. I was told to refer to the status page: https://www.blackbaud.com/profile/AHSStatus.aspx but that says the issue is resolved. I hope they are working on it!

    Did a Support Chat and he said they're investigating the issue and will update the Hosting Services Status Page shortly.

    We are hosted and cannot connect to Raiser's Edge.  Chat is offline and the 800 number is not taking any calls. Oddly, I feel better knowing that it is not just my organization!

  • I just got off with Chat.  They are working on the issue and will update the status page, which currently says the issue has been resolved, but that's from this issue this morning she said.

    In the last 3 weeks, we had major issues with our hosted version of Raiser's Edge almost every other day. Has anyone switched back from Blackbaud hosting back to local environment?

    UPDATE... back online and hopefully stay that way. 

  • And I got back in...but RE opened with a ReadMe screen for 7.96.  My Recently Accessed lists are old but it looks like data entered today is there.


    Can't go back, because of NXT, but this is the downside to Hosting.  (NXT stayed up...but that doesn't help me with my work for today.)

    Hi, we apologize for any issues you may be experiencing. The best place to check for the most up-to-date information is our Hosting Status Page at status.blackbaud.com.

     

    We can't even open the hosting homepage (Orange County), getting a "This page can’t be displayed".  And there's absolutely nothing listed on the Status Page.

     

    I don't see anywhere how this page is useful.  It doesn't even mention the problems that are occurring NOW and only displays upcoming maintenance updates.

    Whenever there are issues with our hosted environment, I do think (briefly) about switching back.  But I do not miss having to do updates to the server or worrying about the server crashing or worrying about the backups to the server not functioning or all the other headaches that come with maintaining our own server.

    We don't have the IT staff to host locally and have always been hosted.


    I'm still not back in RE.
