    Last year I found that in quick letters you can combine queries thru segment, boy has this made my life easier.  Now I don't have to merge queries in Query.  Quick letters can create the query for me.

    I've just found phonathon forms! We will be using them for the first time next week! While we haven't had time to get the pre-printed version there is still enough information that prints to make the form worthwhile and very handy!

    We use merge codes in our thank you letters to determine (based on gift amount) whose signature block gets printed at the bottom of the thank you letter.

    here's an example -

    {IF {MERGEFIELD Amount} >=1000.00 "Msgr. Stuart W. Swetland, President" "{IF{MERGEFIELD Amount} >=500.00 "Emily Buckley, Vice President for Advancement" "Roger Berg, Jr. Constituent Records Manager" }" }

    While you're in the Merge template document in Word hold down Alt and F9 to toggle the merge codes on or off - that's more of a Word tip, but one that I have on a post-it on my monitor.
