I looked into it on Tuesady. I saw the ad that FB was waiving their fees for anyone to start a fundraiser for Giving Tuesday. I was going to do it until I read that the money goes through another agency (Network for Good), which means that FB takes a portion and NFG takes a portion. Also, Network For Good takes longer than I'd like to disburse the funds - I think it said all money donated in November will be disbursed January 15. As a donor, I decided to just make my gifts directly to the organizations I wanted to support.


If my org was looking at it, I would recommend against it. We just don't bring in enough money online as it is and it sounds like it might be more of a headache.

Thanks Amy for following up with me. I questioned the delay in receiving the funds as well.
