Email marketing without a Query

Is there a way to send an email through OE without picking up a Query but just entering in the required email addresses. I have an invitation that I need to send, but I don't have a query that relates to the recipients I just have a list of names and emails.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no functionality in OLX that allows you to do this - the list HAS to come from a query. You can set up a query with the Criteria of "Email is one of..." and then the list of emails, or use Constituent ID if you can easily get that, but if the emails you want aren't in RE then you have a problem. In that case it's probably best to send directly from your email client, maybe even doing an Email mail merge from Word.

I would like to see this added as an option. Here is our scenario: We have faculty and staff who are not added to RE unless they are donors. We are running a faculty/staff giving event through RE and inviting Faculty and Staff even if they are not donors.  I cannot use RE to send the nice HTML formatted email, only Outlook but I lose the tracking and reporting functionality that is offered through similar email systems.

I cannot let go of our separate email marketing product--GetResponse--for reasons like this.


Well, that and the fact that GetResponse allows me much more flexibility in creating message, personalizing subject lines, etc.
