Hey all.


Any other Boston Center hosted users experiencing lagging problems.  In Detroit we've been noticiing it for at least the last couple of weeks.  Sometimes it takes 5 seconds or more for keystrokes to register, for queries it can take 15 seconds or more for a field selection criteria to appear.

I've noticed it now and again...and more often the past few weeks than prior to that.  But my computer itself is also having issues, so I was thinking that might be part or all of the problem.  And it's not enough to really impede my work, usually.

We are new to Blackbaud Hosting of Raiser's Edge.  I'm hoping this lagging issue is not something we have to get used to.  It is very frustrating.  We notice happening more in the afternoon than in the morning.  We are also hosted out of Boston.

we are hosted too, and have been since day one..... I think it's a temporary issue, maybe due to upgrades. It was not like this before, but I have been seeing it as well in the last few weeks.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these delays. We are not aware of similar trends across the Boston datacenter so definitely want to investigate your experience further to help identify a potential cause. If this lag is still occurring, please contact Support so we can run the additional performance tests noted in this Knowledgebase article to investigate a permanent resolution.

Okay, So as soon as I posted my response . . . the RE gremlins got in. I have a lagging issue now. Very frustrating. Wish me luck.  ~ Susan

Yep.  Seeing a huge delay right now.  Mostly with opening Notes (I have a Default Set that adds a Consituent Note, and the delay is in opening that Note to add some data to it).  If I click, I get an error with a couple of options (Switch To, Try Again, and something else).  Went back to RE to recall what that third option is, and delay is gone.  Everything normal again.

Up here in Macomb Township We are starting to notice this as well. I have one user that is experiencing significant lag time while my connection is running fast while performing the same operations. We will be contacting support this afternoon if this continues.
