Why does the Ecard feature keep breaking?

I have tried to use the Ecard feature twice and both times it ends up breaking both times: "The eCard feature is temporarily unavailable.  Please try again at a later time."

When people try to send it the error message shows up. I have multiple people try it from multiple locations - all with the same results. What's up!? Is anyone else having the same issues?

I received the same error once yesterday while testing a link to our ecards as well.

You'll get this error message if you hit the rate limit for sending Ecards (either yourself, or across a shared IP address). The rate limit is 3 sends (with a maximum of 10 emails per send) per hour.
