Query for in-kind gifts

I'm trying to build a query that will pull donors who have ONLY given a gift-in-kind for a certain time period.  In other words, no cash gifts, pledges, recurring gifts, etc.  Just in-kind gifts. The reason being that we want to send an appeal to those donors who have given a material donation to our shelter (clothing, toiletries, etc.), but not a monetary donation.  I didn't have any luck with Support, so wanted to throw it out here to the Community.

Maybe I'm missing something if support couldn't help.  I'm assuming you use gift type of GIK.  I think a constituent query could pull it.

Criteria:

Gift Type = GIK

Gift date between XX and YY

Summary Info >

Total # of Gifts =0

Gift Date between XX and YY

AND Gift Type one of cash, pay-cash, recur pay-cash, etc.

It looks like it worked for me.  Am I missing something in your criteria?

Not that I know of .  Did not attend.  There are a couple other with same first name, different spellings, on the forums.

That should be pretty straightforward.   A constituent query that looks for Gift Type of Gift in Kind AND the Gift Date between xx and xx should get you what you are looking for.  You can then utlize that query through Mail or a Report or Export, whichever way suits your needs.
