Who is in charge of your planned gifts? do you have a planned gift officer on board? who deals with the gift from inception?

We've had specific gift officers that were in charge of planned gifts as part of their duties in the past.  When prospect expresses interest in making a planned gift that specific gift officer would guide the person (and any other gift officers) through the process.


We've now re-allocated our resources so that each giving officer has specific area to support.  In order to do that we gave up having a specific planned gift officer.  Now our Senior Leadership Director (oversees all gift officers) has assigned himself as the point on all planned gifts.
