Suggested Messages - Solicit Donation

Options
Hello! I am trying to find out if something is possible within Luminate.

Within a TeamRaiser, we use the suggested messages like Solicit Donation and Thank You. My questions, currently the message has blocks that are highlighted yellow (i.e.,  [INSERT LINK TO TEAM PAGE]). Is there a way to have these auto populate so that the starter of the team doesn't have to fill these in themselves?

Thank you for your time.

  • Mike,

Email that comes out from Participant Center (included those using the suggested message) will have Team Page URL automatically inserted at the bottom of the email provided if the sender is a team member. If not it will have only his personal page URL.

    Thus hope that helps.

    regards,

    Daniel

    Hi Mike,

For some perspective, we used to go this route as well... but, we couldn't count on our users to fill in the blanks, so then their recipients were getting unfinished emails.

To Daniel's point, the links are automatically dropped in at the bottom of the message depending on the sender's team affiliation, and also (I think) the type of message that you categorize it as.
