Hi!  Anyone out there that has moved from NetCommunity to Luminate Online?  What did you do with all the data that was in NetCommunity, if anything?  Just want to make sure we don't leave anything behind when we can't access BBNC anymore.

    We switched and did not save anything really. I would maybe save emails as PDF's just so you have a copy of them if you don't already.

    We are in the process of switching from BBNC to LO right now, as well! I hadn't considered bringing anything over from out of BBNC because everything transfers over to RE through the connector that we would want to keep, doesn't it? (Assuming you use Raiser's Edge!)

    We moved to Luminate Online from Sphere two years ago.  We also had NetCommunity and decided there was no need to have it since Luminate does much more.  After we built our website out on LO, we got rid of NetCommunity this year.  Since NC and Re are integrated and if you were using the connector for NC to RE, the data is already in both.  If you want to replicate any donation forms, registrations forms or acknowledgement letters, etc., I would just make a copy of them so you can create them in Luminate.  Or just start fresh as Luminate gives you so much more design options and field option.


    My one piece of advice and it is a BIG one, when they do your data sync to Luminate, make sure all your records have linked to Luminate.  You can do this by running a query on alias Luminate ID is blank.  If any records come back, that means they did not link back from Luminate and will cause major headaches going forward and I have been experiencing for over a year now!
