Importing Offline Gifts into Luminate

Has any one imported offline gifts into Luminate/TeamRaiser?  We currently don't have the connector and I was hoping to be able to update LO more quickly than one by one gift entry.


​Also - do any of you use a third party processor (such as Paypal)?  What are the benefits to that over BBMS?

Sure, I do that all the time. It's pretty straight forward. Look at Fundraising > Teamraiser > Uploads tab. You can click Define Required Fields on the left column to see what columns it can accept. 


We also started using Paypal recently. It's doing pretty well. The benefit is that you don't need your Credit Card to donate. I think that is much easier for moblie users especially.


If you are talking about using them as your merchant, there was a recent thread about iATS that turned really pro BBMS. Might be worth a read.

I'm not able to see "Upload" - I'll check with Support to see if it's because we don't have the connector, if it's my user settings or if it's something else.  Thank you for the information though!  I really want to get away from manual re-entry of gifts...too many typos coming through that are making a mess of the data!!
