Events in OLX

I'm wondering if there is a way when downloading transactions into the Events module form Online Express to add the registrants as participants only without making them constituents?  I'm hoping to use OLX for our Prime Time Alive (PTA) programs where people are required to sign up for the upcoming events, but they aren't necessarily required to be a PTA member or a constituent in our database.

Not that I know of ... but I'd love for someone to say I'm wrong!

We have Open Houses that we ask folks to RSVP for ... I end up adding them all as constituents. On the bright side, it means I've captured their email address ...

Unfortunately, it forces you to create a new constituent record each time. Be careful with organization ones too (i.e. people who register on behalf of an org). It will force you to make a new constituent record for the registerer.
