Adding Donation Amount and Date Fields to TR Donation Auto-Responder

My organization utilizes confirmation emails as tax acknowledgements for donations received online.  In TR, for the donation auto-responder, how do I pull in the constituent's donation amount and date?  I have been told by support that I need to utilize S-tags, but have limited knowledge of HTML or how to utilize this feature.  Would anyone be willing to share an example of the S-tag or HTML code they use to bring this information into a TR auto-responder?

S-Tags are special tags that pull information from Luminate. There are tons you can use.


Give [[S120:dc:donationInfo]] a try. It generates a standard gift summary.


If you don't like that one, you can create your own using html and other s-tags.

It's best to keep it simple with donation info like Brian noted. If you are building your own custom TR transaction summary, not all S120 tags work within TR autoresponders.
