When an opt-out group is used in email campaign, does the system compare the Constituent ID or email address?

If you have multiple people with the same email address, that address gets multiple copies of the same email. (Though the personalization will reflect the names on each record. Dear Helen and Dear Timmy, both delivered to hsmith@somedomain.com.)


If you suppress Timmy, Helen will still get the email.
