Relationships don't open without selecting the relationship type

Sometimes, not always, I have to select the relationship type before I can open a relationship. I don't know what has changed to prompt this. But every keystroke counts.

Hi Susan! Have you made relationship type a required field? You can check in configuration > fields > invidual relationship > check if the box for required is marked.

So, yes, the Relationship Type is required to create the relationship. The issue I'm facing is that when I open a Constituent Record and select the Relationship tab in orrder to open a relationship record I have to select the relationship type in the left panel of the Relationship Window.

So, yes, the Relationship Type is required to create the relationship. The issue I'm facing is that when I open a Constituent Record and select the Relationship tab in orrder to open a relationship record I have to select the relationship type in the left panel of the Relationship Window. 

 

Hmm... that's odd. Sorry- I'm not sure what could be up! I'd check with chat support and see what they say...
