Board Monthly Dashboard Update

Last fiscal year our agency developed an agency dashboard that contains metrics from fiance, HR, development, and community impact. It was a good starting point but we are reviewing the format and information listed to make sure that the data is actually informative and useful. 


I was wondering what other agencies share with their board of directors and/or development committee on a monthly or quarterly basis.

From a development standpoint, we share fundraising revenue and expenses, as well as the cost to raise a dollar based on one of our 4 main fundraising areas - annual gifts, major gifts, special events and third party events.

Income into Unrestricted, Temp Restricted and Restricted Funds

Participation by Constituency groups (i.e., parents, board, alumni, grandparents etc.)

Event income and expense

and if there are additional questions we also give them number of donors in each giving level.
