Has anyone every merged 2 RE databases? If so how was it done? Thanks!

    Never done the merging, but did groundwork before a planned merge, and have seen the results of a merge at another organization.

    You should definitely use Blackbaud for this project.

    Planning and preparation are key; the more detailed the better. The preparation should include standardizing, as much as possible, data and data entry in the two DBs, even prior to the merge.

    Be sure to allow for quite a bit of clean up after as well. No matter how well planned and prepared you are, something new always comes to light after.
