More robust information need around Convio Patches: Particular to Patch 2010-001 Includes and Embed

Options

Does Convio provide fuller documentation anywhere about the items contained in patches other than the short one sentence descriptions in the patch notes? This is a general problem.

In particular, patch 2010-001 does away with include components and replaces them with embed components. How will existing pages be impacted and what are the recommended practice for employing this change? Also, does this impact the bulk import and export tool?

This is only one issue among many that would benefit from more helpful and descriptive documentation.

Is there more information regarding the Includes? We are heavily reliant on includes for alot of our quick-publishing needs and now have to either work around it (rehashing HTML in the includes folder) or do without.

The mark up language for the display templates provides an alternate syntax for t:include tags that eliminated the extra DIV.

    <t:include id=templatelist-12345678></t:include>

Having easy access to included content without extra mark up wrapping around it allowed from some slick, powerful and time saving tricks. Will this alternate syntax continue to be support? If not, what option will be used to replace it?
