Targeted Welcome Series Messages

Hi,

We are interested in going beyond our basic Welcome Series message to create some targeted messages based on gift designations and other choices a donor might make. Is there a tutorial for this? Also, we are interested in sending some triggered emails based on donor behavior. For example... if they have given more than 3 times in a year, we want to offer them an opportunity to become a sustainer or to take advantage of our memorials program if they are making more than 3 memorial gifts in a year.

There is a long post on the topic of setting up various Welcome messages for different constituencies... http://community.customer.convio.com/message/8601

That post has a lot of content in it, but it does cover the basics.  It can be managed through Convio Email campaigns - the most important thing that you will need to have set up in order to make this happen is you will need to have clearly identified which Convio group receives which of your welcome messages.  Once you have the groups established and the proper contacts are in the proper groups, you will be able to manage your multiple welcome message deliveries by managing the groups in the target lists and the do not mail lists for each welcome message delivery that you set up.
