Creating a Golf Outing

Has anyone successfully created a golf outing registration page in Online Express that is able to capture foursome names, and attributes (shirt size etc) that is not overly cumbersome? 


I am disappointed that Online Express which was marketed to us as an event module doesn't have an ability to create a form for a typical event like a golf outing. 


We want the person registering choosing an attribute like the shot gun time they want-but the participants they bring to be able to choose their own shirt size. 


If you have created an event form with Online Express for a golf outing will you please send it over? Thanks!

We've had events where we needed to register both small groups and within that individual choices, like breakout sessions, with attributes.  Usually one person will register themselves and then register the other three of the foursome as their guests and the attributes show up as choices under each guest...a bit clunky looking on the registration page, but seems to work...

This is add on question. This is my very first time doing a form from online express and I am doing a golf outing. I have a foursome entered as one cost but want the person registering the team to be able to register them all. How do I do that?

I think this is similar to my question. Very basically it seems that OLX isn't really capable of creating a nice form for golf outings, but there are some work arounds. You could have "Bob" the CEO register for his foursome and then you could allow him to register "guests" through adding an attribute under filed options. One problem is that you will have to create different attributes for each memeber of the foursome ie "Golfer 2" Golfer 3... etc. 


The other option you have is to create the foursome under the Get started tab but instead of just one registerat set it as four. Max number can be whatever you want. 


Then once the form is populated there will be room for him to enter in the information. This does not render pretty for the end user-we are trying to find someone who has been able to execute a good registeration page for us to learn from.

foursomes I can do them the same way.

Out of curiosity, how many people select shirts that aren't supposed to?!

I only ask because I like how you have all of your sponsorship options on one form, which has been hard for us to accomplish in NetCommunity (but we're about to transition to Online Express). Do donors struggle with the form? Or do they fill it out correctly?

We use participant attributes to capture the foursome names. I created an attribute that has a text field.

We've used a combination of participant attributes and prices, both of which are user-defined.
