System generated passwords (request)

While I rather like the system generated passwords (two 3-letter words separated by 3 digits), they seem to cause a lot of confusion for users.  Because they don't look like they're randomly generated a lot of end users are suspicious when they request their password for the first time and it's something like fry328dog (I made that up).  I think it would cut down on constituent correspondence if the system generated passwords were more random in appearance (e.g., 1a3x24gR8).  That's just my unsolicited two cents based on having responded to a number of emails from confused users over the years.
