Personal Events - customized splash page

We've been using personal events for the past year but are not too happy with the splash page template - in particluar the links for "host a house party" and "find a house party" that appear in the upper right of the screen. We would love to create a custom splash page in pagebuilder - more so a splash page for hosts. We've found that our hosts have a hard time finding their way back to their host center and would love to create a custom page that speaks more to them as hosts rather than having one page for both.

1. Do you have suggestions on how to make the process to get to the host center easier for users? An example - if you have one - would be great

2. Anyone have info on using s tags for personal events?

I saw one thread about using an s tag in the autoresponder - but what about on the splash page or on a pagebuilder page?
