Edit code

Options
hi there, i'm wondering if there is a way to directly edit the html code (specifically the line height attribute) in Raisers Edge. I find that if i copy text from a page that has correct formatting it retains it, but i can not figure out a way to manually increase line height in the program itself.

Thank you for your help,

Traci

  • I don't believe this is possible...yet.  Although, I'm not sure if you're talking about on a Donation Form, and Email Message, a Confirmation Screen, etc.  So it might be a feature in one area and not another.

You'll want to check out the OLX Idea Bank.  Just a simple search of "edit html" returned 4 posts...and different search terms will get different/more results.  I suggest searching the bank, voting & commenting on Ideas you find that you like, and subscribing if you want to be alerted when someone else posts (including Blackbaud staff, who will often update with planned or released features...or sometimes to ask for more information so that the feature works as we, the Users, want it to).

In the meantime, it sounds as though you do have a workaround.  You might post that in a comment on relevant Ideas so that others know about it and can use that for the timebeing.  I do know that html editing/writing is an often-requested function, but also that OLX was designed to be used by those of us who don't know how to write it manually (or aren't comfortable with/fast at it).
