BBNC Roadmap Webinar

Options
We use NetCommunity Spark (not the full version of BBNC). I would like to know if all of the new and planned changes to BBNC apply to Spark as well. If not, it would be helpful if all BBNC news and information indicated which changes are applicable to the full version of BBNC only, to Spark only or to both.

Thanks.

  • Hi Raymond,

The applicability of new and planned changes to BBNC is contingent upon more than the version of BBNC that you have, it also depends on additional modules that your organization may own. For instance, email and donations functionality is included in the basic BBNC Spark modules. So any updates that we’ve made in those areas will be coming to clients who own those modules, regardless of whether or not they own BBNC Spark or BBNC Grow. Events and Membership are not included in our base Spark package, but they are included with Grow and are also available as add-on modules to Spark. So the changes coming to events and membership will be exclusive to BBNC installations that include those modules.

You raised an excellent point about identifying which modules will be affected by features coming in future BBNC releases. We’re exploring how to clearly communicate this in future communications.

Raymond, I was looking at your site. Are you still using Spark or did you upgrade to higher version of NetCommunity? - Rachel Burns, The Madeira School
