Reporting on gifts given to a team using Report Writer?

I got a great report question from Steve at Sacramento SPCA, and I don't know the answer so I thought I would post to see if anyone knows:

Question:

- I need the name of the person (or team or team captain) being supported by the donor.  We will use this to indicate a "soft-credit" to that person in our Raiser's Edge database.

If we use a standard Donations by Transaction report in the donations tool, there is a column called "Proxy_name".   I am unable to find the data element, "Proxy Name" in the column choices in Report Writer.  I tried "Proxy Type" and "Joint Name" but neither was it.  Perhaps it's called something else in Report Writer?

Take a look under the 'Transaction Details' report within report writer, particularly the 'participant information' fields... use of the 'participant first name' and 'participant last name' fields will likely provide you the name of the event participant you're seeking.
