Gift receipts

I had a donor call and suggest adding the check number and/or the check date to a gift receipt. This would be helpful for their records and maybe for some other donors as well. Currently, there is no space on the pre-printed receipts for this information. Please consider adding an option to include check number and/or check date to the pre-printed receipts. Thanks!

The fields are actually not available when using the preprinted receipts option. So your request would need to also make the fields available.  They are available if you choose custom data file which you can then use for their forms or you own.  Better place to post requests/suggestions like this is the Ideas pages. https://community.blackbaud.com/products/raisersedge7/ideas


Side note, we used to include check # and gift date on receipts.  We dropped it.  As our turn-around time is within a couple of days donor can figure out check date.  Dropped for several reasons: not required by IRS, check dates not always complete or correct on the check, just another thing to check for accuracy.
