What are donor status types and what do they mean?

The following are the definitions of the donor status types in Convio:

• Undefined
  • The constituent is an admin.
• Indirect
  • Someone who donates to a TeamRaiser participant, not directly to the organization.
• Direct
  • Someone who has either donated to your site on any occasion, or anyone who has had multiple statuses (i.e. the person has both donated indirectly and jointly).
• Unknown
  • Donation was created by a DataSync
• Non-donor/Never
  • Someone who is registered on your site but has never donated money to your organization
• Joint (obsolete)
  • Someone who has donated with someone else in a joint gift.
