Handle multiple emails and Convio records in one Raiser's Edge record

How do orgs handle the scenario when there is one Raiser's Edge record with multiple email addresses for constituents and multiple Convio records? Our data sync only syncs with primary Email field, not 2ndEmail, 3rdEmail and SpouseEmail. One problem we're experiencing is when constituents are signing up for events or enewsletters with email other than their primary it's creating a new REdge record even though we have the particular email in REdge. Also any update made in their REdge record is not transfered to their Convio records due to, "CNBIO_ID/CNBIO_IMPORT_ID matched more than one record in Convio." Does something need to be changed with our data sync to map all email address fields?

Scenario:

  • Multiple Convio records, one REdge record
  • Convio records share the same REdge ID
  • Updated info in REdge not being uploaded intoConvio due to multiple Convio records sharing the same REdge ID
