Conditional ask strings on donation forms

Is this possible to have a conditional ask string on a donation form? Based on a person's largest most recent gift? If so can anyone tell me how to do this, or direct me to a document explaing how to do this. Or is this something I would have to have support do? Please help!

You can do this when configuring donation levels for a form.  In the step where you specify the gift amount, you have an option of "Calculate a dynamic donation ask amount using the formula specified."  Help documentation on how to configure a dynamic gift level can be found in the "creating or editing a level" section of the "Creating a Donation Form" section in the Convio Help documentation.

This allows you just to pull the last transaction amount - for this case. I need the constituents largest most recent gift within the last 12 month period. Not previous year, year-to-date, life-time amount ect.

IN an  email  <variable giving level text based on largest most recent gift in the last 12 months. This dynamic membership ask needs to carry over to the donation form, Text for non-logged in donors to display sting of $50, $100, $150, $250 etc.>

So if a donor gets an email and their largest most recent gift in the last 12 months was $150 than the ask string would start at $150 not $50

There has got to be a away to program this, w/o paying Convio thousands of dollars to do.
