Are we going to be able to merge duplicate constituent records and still retain info now that we are on NXT?

    Merging records is still a function that is only available in RE:7.  So if you come across a duplicate situation while using RE:NXT, you'll just need to move to RE:7 to resolve that (or note it for later when you are in RE:7).


    Whatever your process is for adding explanation or detail on why records were merged will still be what you do.  There is a possibility that some of that explanation may be in Fields that are not yet visible in RE:NXT...in that case, visit the NXT Idea Bank and look for those Fields, vote on existing Ideas or add new ones.  If it is essential to see that information in NXT now, then you'll probably need to come up with a temporary workaround using Fields already available in NXT (like Attributes or Notes).
