getTeamraisersByDistance using more than one event_type value

I'm tried to create a list of upcoming events for a corporate partner, but want to limit that list to only two event types (walk and bike) is that possible using the TeamRaiser API? I can't figure out how to include an "or" statement in the ajax code for "event_type".
