When will Blackbaud allow NetCommunity Emails to go to Organizations?

We are a higher education church related college that works with several churches.  I need to email 2x a year specifically to churches.  I would like to do this through NetCommunity to use the benefits of seeing if they actually open the email and click on a link.  The current setting is that you must use a Constituent query to send an email. However, I'm not sure why I have to make it a constituent query when it only works on individuals, but that's an argument for a different day (I'm over it).  So....has anyone been able to email to an organization?  I'm sure other people have had the need to do so.

We email the primary contact at the organization, by creating an export of the organization's primary contact with the email address, and then create an imported list in NetCommunity.


But I do wish BBNC would permit you to directly email to the organization's email - which is usually info@xxxx  

Would be interesting to see if these are opened and read.

That is exactly what we did, however I want the email to appear on the "NetCommunity" tab of the organization record.  If I use an "import" it will not show up there.  Which to me, is no different than doing an basic Word merge email.
