Customizing Administrator Notifications

We are using the "Large Gift Notification" function in both eCommerce stores and for Campaign form donations. Unfortunately all of the fields the administrators need to fulfill a variety of duties are not included in these notifications. Some of these are custom fields that we have added using the form editors. We can definitely edit the notifications that the customer receives, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to make changes to what the admin receives. Could it even be set to just default to send "all" submitted data? That would be better than nothing.

  • Unfortunately there is no way you can customize the content of the admin notification. It may be possible for Convio's Services team to do what is called a template customization to add in additional data, keyword "may". If you'd like to look into going that route, you should send the details on the specific fields you're trying to include to your Account Manager so that they can run it past the Services team.

    One other option worth considering -- with the most recent release, you are able to schedule ReportWriter reports and have them delivered to your email on a recurring basis, e.g. once a day or once a week. So, instead of receiving an admin notification on every individual transaction, you could get a daily roll-up report.

    I see. Unfortunately the auto-mailing of reports won't work for this one case as it is for live, on-air pledge events.
