Loss of function due to records marked for consolidated receipts

Ugh!  I know it's Monday but it had been an okay one until now.  Am running receipts for our Swim for the Y event.  Got all constituents entered, gifts entered and decided to fancy up the process a bit and include the name of the child care kiddo the donor made their gift in support of.  Entered child's name is on a gift attribute.

So previewed merge file, didn't see the problem and went ahead and printed.  Now looking them over I find the name from the gift attribute field did not pull into about 10% of the letters.  So, looked at names of donors.  Most seemed familiar.  They're familiar because they are staff with payroll deductions or monthly donors who all have their records marked for consolidated receipts.  Apparently RE is not smart enough to figure out which gift  for the fund the receipt is processing and pull the attribute I want?  Gift is to completely different fund/campaign than any other gifts on records and the only gift for the fund/campaign on donor's record.

I've run into issues before with receipts not printing for any records with consolidated receipts selected when I used a conditional merge.  Just another stupid thing!!!  Thanks for letting me vent.  No one else here knows enough about RE to understand my frustration. angry

No, I haven't put it on Discovery yet.  Too many suggestions there and not enough votes for most to really make a difference.  May put it over there tomorrow.
