Gift Batch Validation Report: recurring batch doesn't show pledge

When I preview a validation report for a gift batch before committing, I usually see, if a gift is a pledge payment, a line in the report: "pledge applied to" with the pledge the gift is going towards. 


Validation reports for recurring batches do not have this line to show where a pledge is being applied. Can they be set up to do this?


Can 'regular' or 'recurring' gift batch validation reports be set up to show 'recurring gift applied to' as well as showing 'gift applied to pledge?'

If you manually apply the payment to the pledge it will show that in the Validation Report.  If you use the automatic feature on the Batch it doesn't link the payment to the Pledge until it is actually Committed, so you don't get to see that in the Validation Report.  I'm pretty sure this is a suggestion on the Discovery web site where you could add your votes to get this included in a future release.

Aha! Thanks! And thank you for the suggestion of asking for this to be included in a future release. I will look into adding it to the Discovery website.
