offline gift acknowledgements?

When processing (either adding new or confirming existing) offline gifts in TR, will the system send the donor an acknowledgement email (assuming there's a email address provided)?  My guess is "no", but I'd like to see if someone can confirm that.  And if the answer is "no", might this be an enhancement that others are interested in?  It would certainly make life easier for a lot of us who have lots of events.

There is an Offline Gift Thank You autoresponder. I haven't used it here yet, but I assume it gets sent when an offline gift is confirmed.

You're right.  I hadn't noticed it before - been a very long time since I've configured a TR event.  I tested it by creating a gift from myself and the autoreply arrived instantly!
