Allow Survey Submit with Existing Email / Username?

We are using LuminateExtend with the Survey API to make simple forms to grow our mailing list, etc.


We have run into an issue where if someone is already on our list, the error message returned indicates that an "account" already exists, and won't submit.



We don't use any of the actual account features, we only use these forms to grow our list and collect specific information. We don't want to log people in, etc.


Is there a way to submit surveys without the login component? We need people to be able to submit to multiple surveys, without requiring login.

Try looking at the settings for the "anchor" survey used with the API. The login requirements can be configured there. More specifically, you can go to the survey module, edit the anchor survey, and look at the "Select Layout and Processing Options" section of the "Constituent Registration Info" question.
