TR Participant Center inaccuracy?

I have a user who is seeing this message in the "What should I do next?" section of his Participant Center:

"You have sent messages asking for support to 105 of your friends who have not responded."

Clicking on "Send them a reminder" just takes you to the Follow Ups section; it does not already filter correctly, it just takes me to the section home. After going through all the filters, none of them show 105 people to send to.

Am I reading this incorrectly, in that I am looking for 105 people to remind? It's a confusing sentence, but either way, where could these 105 people be coming from?
