Help With EFTs

Hi, can anyone give me step-by-step instructions on how to link bank information coming from Online Express donations to the constituent?  For some reason I'm just a total moron with this and can't seem to get it right.  We had a few prior direct debit donations (one-time gifts, not recurring) and I had "pre-linked" the banks with the constituents outside of Online Express as was suggested to me by Blackbaud support, but then when I was back in the Online Express window I somehow managed to not attach the bank account numbers, so I'm unable to process the direct debit transactions. Support is going to send the transactions back into the plug-in for me, but I just want to make sure that I do everything right this time.  Thanks in advance for your help with this!
