Position Summary: Drives consistency through the organization by supporting the data integration processes between Make-A-Wish national and chapter CRM systems and external data sources. Responsible for the support of end users of the related data import tools, specifically ImportOmatic.  Continually train staff and ensure competency in use of the tools and resources available to them. Assess, and implement new software applications to enhance the National Office and chapter’s resources.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implements new software applications integration with Make-A-Wish suite, including all steps of project management from assessing and scoping project, developing an implementation plan, data mapping, conversion testing, user training, and providing go-live support.
  • Provides guidance in the use of Omatic applications. Recommends improvements and enhancements.
  • Develops ImportOmatic documentation and curriculum for training end users and increasing their effectiveness and comfort in using ImportOmatic within the Make-A-Wish Suite.
  • Performs Instructor-led, classroom training, as well as remote e-learning sessions.
  • Provides chapters with product support on ImportOmatic and The Raiser’s Edge related modules.
  • Serves as liaison between chapters and National Office for such things as tracking and documenting new issues, bugs, requests for features, policy updates, etc. as it relates to custom modules, standards of use, and reporting.
  • Conducts testing for version updates, fixes, and new features.
  • Functions as level-two support to IT help desk for products related to ImportOmatic and Make-A-Wish CRM systems. Provides knowledge, resources, and support using best practices, internal policies, internal and external knowledge base solutions, third party resources, documentation, etc.
  • Performs other related job duties, as assigned.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a remote and/or office environment.
  • Some travel required.
  • May require work outside a traditional Monday – Friday work week, and outside normal business hours.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 -3 years’ experience in integration, support and training of software systems.
  • Minimum 2 -3 years’ experience working with and supporting The Raiser’s Edge (or similar CRM software) and ImportOmatic (or similar ETL software) required. Blackbaud certification helpful.
  • Project management experience in a technical environment desired.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Smartsheet or other Project Management tool preferred.

 

 

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of The Raiser’s Edge and ImportOmatic.
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and train individuals with diverse skill sets.
  • Organize work, prioritize and make timely decisions with sound judgment.
Required Experience
  • Degree in CIS or three years experience in a related field
  • Expert computer skills with a demonstrated expertise in enterprise-wide applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and train individuals with diverse skill sets
