JOB SUMMARY: The Raiser’s Edge Coordinator for the Sisters of Notre Dame, Chardon Province, located in the Eastern suburbs of Cleveland, is primarily responsible for collaborating with the Sisters and others in advancing the mission and charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame.  Additionally, this position is responsible for supporting the department operations for the Mission Advancement Office. The primary role of the individual is to manage the Raiser’s Edge database, including, but not limited to, understanding of the gifts processing system (and providing backup for gifts processing), donor receipts/acknowledgment system, and maintaining the integrity of donor and contributed income financial records.

 
A.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 
  1. Responsible for management and maintenance of the Mission Advancement Database, including the integrity of the data and records, deleting duplicate records, appropriate coding, etc.  Regularly audits data entry for errors and/or incorrect coding issues.  Also provides backup for daily gift entry and processing when needed.  Responsible for the management and oversight of the acknowledgment system. Duties also include the accurate entry of data for donor and prospect records, and the productions of lists and reports for mailing and accounting purposes.
 
  1. Capable of querying database records to produce mailing lists, reports, etc. around identified parameters.
 
  1.  Provides support as needed for the fundraising activities including annual campaigns, cultivation and special events, and employee campaigns.
 
  1. Develop and standardize reports to track gifts and event participation and analyze the success of fundraising initiatives
 
  1. Maintains appropriate records of paper files, and other records related to contributions.  
 
  1. Works with the Finance Department and the Mission Advancement Secretary to ensure accuracy of gift/donation records and deposits.  
 
  1. Responsible for tracking gift documentation, and has working knowledge of and ensures and adheres to established standards.
 

 
  1. Remain current in required database training.
 
 
B.  JOB SPECIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION/EDUCATION:
 
Three - five years of related experience, with an established record of Raiser’s Edge database management and development operations experience.


This individual must have the ability to work individually on projects as well as be a team player.


 
This individual must also be organized and meticulous, strong computer skills, particularly in word, excel, and development database programs software experience highly desirable.
