When adding relationships

Why does it automatically go to "Son" if you have the relationship as a Parent/Mother/Father? Even if the relationship entered is put as a female the automatic is still "Son". Is there a way to make it so it comes up according to gender?

    Did you intend for this question to post in Altru?  I noticed you are an Altru user, and I'm not sure that this kind of auto relationship is even possible in Raiser's Edge.


    Just in case you are getting this in RE, I this would only happen if you are loading a relationship default, and then the answer would be to edit the default or enter the info in manually.  Not sure if that would translate to Altru setup.
