"Overflow" message

Options
I created a batch and when I commit it, an error window opens that states "Overflow!"  I can continue to print my batch, but I cannot print receipts.  When selecting the batch to receipt, it states there are no matching records (when there should be receipts to be printed). I saw that there has been a post on this topic, but before I "edit the registry" I thought I would ask the question again a year later.

  • I called in to Blackbaud and was provided the following answer:
When saving a batch, you may receive an "Overflow" error. The error occurs for one user on one workstation.
    1. Edit the registry
    2. Find the REINI_1 key under HKEY_Current_USER\\Software\\Blackbaud\\REIni_1.
    3. Rename it OLD_REINI_1.
Note: Incorrect changes to registry settings can cause serious system problems that may be irreversible without reinstallation of the operating system. You mustback up your registry before making any registry changes. We are not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect use of the Registry Editor.
