Pulling Pledge Fulfillment By Giving Levels

Our phonathon ended almost 2 months ago, and we are interested in generating a report that gives us the total of pledges, payments, write offs, remainders within different giving categories. I.e. what are the pledge fulfillment results for giving levels of $0.01-$49.99; $50-$99.99, $100-249.99 etc. 


Is there a report that can show pledge fulfillment based on giving levels?

That is a really great question.  I can’t think of a report that would give you both pledge fulfillment and a breakdown/summary by gift size.  This would be great suggestion for our reports team! 


I would recommend setting up a Gift Detail and Summary Report.  You can use the Gift Type tab to include the columns of information you want:  total pledge, payment, write-off, and pledge balance. 


Then, on the General tab, make sure the Gift Dates are what you want, and then insert a Gift Amount <ASK> Query on the General Tab using the Include button.  Have you ever used the Ask Query?  If not I can send you some information on that.


With this in place, you can run the report, you will get a prompt to insert the gift amount, and you can insert in your first giving level range (Gift Amount is Between $.0.01-$49.99.)  You would then have to then run the report for each giving level separately.  I know this is not ideal, but I think it will get you the information you want.


Analyzing your pledge fulfillment by gift size is a great idea!  I'm sure that will get you some interesting information.
