We are currently seeking a full-time, entry-level Database Assistant to join our fast-paced Fund Development Team. This position is based out of our Chicago or Lake Villa, IL office, with the possibility of working remotely.  Job Summary
As a member of the Database Operations team, the Database Assistant will help ensure contributions are processed and recorded accurately and in a timely manner—key steps in ensuring One Hope United supporters and their contributions are well stewarded. The Database Assistant will be responsible for processing check, cash, stock, credit card processing, gift in kind, pledge, grant data and online donations via Raiser’s Edge software. The Database Assistant will also update and maintain donor records, enter data with a high level of accuracy and process donor acknowledgment letters daily. The Assistant will complete a variety of projects related to database maintenance, mailings and correspondence. This is a clerical position. The successful candidate will be able to sit and type data for long periods of time.
Job Requirements, Experience and Skills
Education High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience 1-2 years of data entry and clerical experience. Some experience with CRM database applications preferred. Nonprofit experience a plus.

§  Ability to ID patterns, synthesize information and troubleshoot
§  Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
§  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn various software programs
§  Experience with Raiser’s Edge, File Transfer Protocol a plus
